Flamenco is a genre of south Spanish dance combining with guitar playing, singing, finger snapping, hands clapping, and dance. The first mention of flamenco on literature is 1774, it is record as the genre of Andalusian music and dance styles. Flamenco has become popular and developed in many countries in recent years, such as united state and Japan.For japan's development of flamenco, there are even more academic theory than the dance in Spain. On November 16, 2010 UNESCO declared flamenco one of the Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
The word “flamenco" in Spanish has the meaning of fire and flame, that might be hints the music style and dance style is full of passionate and strong feeling of rhythm , as this video shows :
As the video shows, the rhythm is slow and relaxing at the beginning of the music , as the rhythm became faster, the dance is going faster as the rhythm change.
"Palos" is the word that refer to the dance style of flamenco. Palos are classified as many criteria, for example,mode, chord progression, or rhythm pattern. there are more then 50 different types of palos and some of those are hard to performed.

The forms of flamenco perform is :Toque( guitar),Cante (song),and Baile (dance), therefore, "flamenco" is a word as performing style, including music and dance.
